What void evolution is (Purple Portal)

In Sell Lemons the in-game button is often labeled Evolution. Community wikis call it void evolution to distinguish it from Ascension. It is a mid–late game prestige reset that trades current buildings for stacked permanent income speed.

42× income stacks and fruit tiers

Each void evolution adds a permanent 42× income speed multiplier that stacks across runs until Ascension. Your fruit also progresses through tiers (Lemon → Orange → Lime → higher stages toward Purity in endgame content).

• First evolve: ~501 Quadrillion investor cost (community estimate).
• Stacks compound: 42, then 42×42, and so on.
• Fruit tier upgrades unlock alongside void evolutions.

When to void evolve (200% / 350% rules)

Experienced players often evolve when their investor bonus hits strong thresholds — commonly cited 200% or 350% bonus windows — rather than on a fixed timer. If rebuild after evolving would take hours, wait and upgrade income first.

What resets vs what stays

Void evolution typically clears buildings, investor-bought powers, and current investors while keeping stacked 42× multipliers and fruit progress until Ascension wipes macro progress.

• Resets: buildings, investor powers, current investor count.
• Keeps: void evolution stack count, fruit tier (until Ascension).
• Robux powers: usually persist — confirm on powers screen.
