The reset matrix confuses most players — use this before any reset:
- Rebirth keeps: investor powers already bought, badges, Forever Purchase locks, ascension ×7.77.
- Rebirth wipes: all buildings and cash.
- Void evolve keeps: void ×42 stacks (until ascension), Forever Purchase, ascension ×7.77, badges.
- Void evolve wipes: buildings, cash, investors, investor-bought powers.
- Ascension keeps: Forever Purchase locks, ascension ×7.77 stacks, Robux powers, badges.

Evolution vs ascension — reward math
Void evolution: each tier adds ×42 to global speed — compounding. Ascension: each tier adds ×7.77 to cash — also compounding. They affect different multipliers (speed vs cash). Ascension 1 with Wormhole Forever Purchase (×42 global cash locked) multiplies with ascension ×7.77 for explosive rebuilds. Do not ascension before stacking meaningful void evolutions unless speed-running Forever Purchase token.

Never skip layers. Typical account path:
- Hour 1–10: stand → LemonDash YES → Depot gates → first rebirth.
- Midgame: rebirth loop + sewer keys + powers until 501.2Q investors.
- Late mid: void evolution every time progress hits 100% — stack ×42.
- Endgame: LemonX + Space Staircase → ascension when rebuild slows.

Common confusion — evolution is NOT rebirth
Joe the Alien rebirth and Purple Portal evolve are different menus on different sides of the screen. Rebirth menu = investors. Void Evolution menu = fruit tier + ×42. You rebirth many times between each void evolve to fill the progress bar. Saying 'evolve then rebirth' is backwards — rebirth feeds void progress, then you evolve at 100%.
Evolution vs ascension — when to ascend
Ascend when another void evolution cycle feels slower than the ×7.77 cash jump would recover rebuild time — often Evolution 6+ with full LemonX online.
