When to evolve — 100% progress rule

Evolve when the Void Evolution progress bar hits 100%, not when the portal first appears at 501.2Q. Delay only for carry-over Labs or Staircase upgrades. Five green-light timing signals (stand upgrade speed, cash buffer, depot gates): evolution-chart.

What void evolution resets vs what survives

Evolving clears the same layer as a hard rebirth plus more. Plan your investor budget knowing these wipe.

• Resets: Alien Investors, all investor-bought powers (Manage through Remote Buy), rebirth building progress.
• Survives: Robux powers (Speed Up Time, Forever Purchase), Sewer Gate / Cosmic Cash Vine access, many Labs permanent upgrades, rebirth % multiplier base, badges.

+42× stacking math — why evolution compounds

Each evolution adds another ×42 layer to your total speed multiplier, not a flat +42. Evolution 1 = ×42. Evolution 2 = ×1,764. Evolution 3 = ×74,088. This is why late-game income explodes after the fifth or sixth fruit tier — skipping evolutions to "save progress" actually slows long-term scaling. Rebirth multipliers stack on top of evolution speed, so a run with both active earns far faster than either alone.

Pre-evolution checklist (do this every time)

A prepared evolution rebuilds in minutes; an unprepared one wastes an hour clicking the stand.

• Void menu progress bar at 100%.
• Cosmic Cash Vine harvested or timer noted (gate unlock persists).
• No pending deals that drain cash before reset without permanent value.
• Labs / Staircase carry-over purchases completed if affordable.
• Mental budget: Manage (100) + Expert Picker (250) + Run Faster (400) investors after evolve.
• Lemon Depot decoration gates cleared — hidden buttons block rebuilds.

First five minutes after evolving

Your fruit model changes immediately (Lemon → Orange on first evolve) — that visual confirms success. Investors and powers drop to zero. Rebuy Manage first from the clipboard menu, restart the stand upgrade loop, and time how long the next major upgrade takes. If it exceeds 5 minutes, you may have evolved with too weak a Labs base. If upgrades chain quickly, push the new fruit tier before returning to sewer or orchard side content.

Evolution vs Ascension — which reset when?

Void evolution is frequent — every fruit tier at 100% progress. Ascension through the Space Staircase is rare endgame — ~7.77× permanent cash plus a Forever Purchase token. Evolve often for ×42 stacks; ascend only when the ascension guide checklist is complete (centillion-scale wealth, multiple void evolutions, sewer content done). Ascending resets void evolution progress — do not confuse the two buttons.

Evolution vs Rebirth — daily loop

Mid and late game loop: rebirth to refill investors → fill void progress bar → evolve at 100% → rebuild with new ×42 stack → repeat. Early game (pre-501.2Q): rebirth only, no void portal yet. Post-portal: rebirths still matter because they feed the progress bar toward the next fruit tier.

Robux evolve shortcut (160 Robux)

The Void menu offers a paid evolve for ~160 Robux that skips the investor grind for a single evolution. Useful if you want to stack multipliers quickly and accept the Robux cost. Free-to-play players should ignore this and evolve at 100% naturally — the rebirth loop after first ×42 is fast enough that Robux evolves rarely beat grinding after Evolution 2+.
