Orchard Update release window (v1.1.0)

BloxByte Games launched The Orchard Update as a timed farming event, not a permanent expansion. The official window is July 3 through July 27, 2026, both at 5:00 PM. If orchard features are missing after a patch, rejoin a fresh server — timed assets sometimes load on the second join.

How to unlock the Orchard — 10 Septillion Cash

The first Orchard button costs 10 Septillion Cash. That puts the grove in early-to-mid progression — reachable after stand upgrades and a few rebirths, not only endgame. Once unlocked you get plantable plots, fruit inventory, and Bob the Alien's Orchard Shop (separate from Joe the Alien, who handles Rebirth).

• Cost: 10 Septillion Cash for the first Orchard unlock button.
• Shop NPC: Bob the Alien (Tokens) — not Joe the Alien (Rebirth).
• Currency: Orchard Tokens from selling fruit — cannot convert to Cash.
• Higher Evolution fruit (up to Purity) raises base tree value and Pure mutation strength.

Core loop — plant, lock mutations, eat or sell

Buy Orchard → plant a tree → tree matures and locks mutations → harvest fruit → eat for temporary buffs, sell for Tokens, or replant. Mutations decide whether a tree is a keeper. Full names, multipliers, and keep/replace tiers live on the orchard-mutations guide.

• Grow trees — default grow timer is short early; fertilizers and plot upgrades cut it further.
• Mutations lock at first maturity — every later fruit from that tree carries the same set.
• Eat — temporary Cash, Speed, Growth, Walk, Luck, or Void buffs.
• Sell — Orchard Tokens for Bob's shop (fertilizers, plot upgrades, new plots, decor repairs).
• Replant — clear weak trees so you can roll again.

Eat vs sell — quick decision rules

Do not eat every fruit. Cash mutations (Tasty → Juicy → Exotic → Perfect) are for upgrade pushes. Negative mutations (Slow, Draining, Lazy, Heavy, Dense) should be sold for Tokens or cleansed — eating them hurts income or growth. Mixed trees: weigh the whole roll; if downsides outweigh a weak buff, sell.

• Eat Perfect / Exotic / Juicy right before expensive stand, Depot, or Trading buys.
• Eat Fast when you need more harvest cycles in one session.
• Eat Pure / Lucky when farming better future rolls (long-event play).
• Sell Slow / Draining / Lazy / Heavy / Dense fruit — never eat them as your main buff.
• Stars on fruit are a weak signal — mutation quality beats star count for Token value.

Bob the Alien shop — fertilizers and plot upgrades

Spend Tokens on permanent plot upgrades before cosmetics. Growth speed first, then mutation quality. Exact Token prices can shift with patches — confirm in Bob's shop UI.

• Growth Fertilizer — cuts ~50% of remaining grow time (early must-buy consumable).
• Mysterious Fertilizer — +2 mutations on the next harvest.
• Ascendant Fertilizer — guarantees +1 positive mutation on the next harvest.
• Cleansing Fertilizer — removes 1 mutation (clear a bad roll without full replant).
• Irrigation Kit + Soil Enricher — permanent plot upgrades that double growth speed on that plot.
• Enriched Uranium — +2 mutations per tree on that plot.
• Lucky Clovers — raises rare mutation chance on that plot.
• Decorations — cosmetic / repairable; buy last before July 27.

Best Token spend order (July event)

Tokens are time-limited. Permanent plot upgrades keep paying until July 27; cosmetics do not.

• 1. Unlock + first tree slots / plots so the harvest loop works.
• 2. Irrigation Kit and Soil Enricher on your main plots.
• 3. Growth Fertilizer stock for active sessions.
• 4. Enriched Uranium + Lucky Clovers once growth is stable.
• 5. Mysterious / Ascendant Fertilizer for Perfect / Exotic pushes.
• 6. Cleansing Fertilizer for salvageable trees with one bad mutation.
• 7. Extra plots, then cosmetic decor — final days only.

Persistence vs deadline — what survives resets

Unlike Ascension, Rebirth, and Void Evolution, Orchard trees, mutations, and event progress are not wiped by prestige layers. The hard limit is the calendar: when July 27 at 5:00 PM hits, orchard features and unspent Tokens go away. Core tycoon progress (investors, void stacks, sewer keys, Forever Purchases) remains permanent.

• Survives Rebirth / Evolution / Ascension: Orchard trees and event progress (while the event is live).
• Ends July 27: planting, mutations, Tokens, Bob's shop access.
• Do not confuse Orchard Fruit with Evolution Fruit (Lemon → Orange → … → Purity).
• Do not confuse Orchard Tokens with Cosmic Cash.

How Orchard fits with sewer, rebirth, and powers

Orchard is a parallel income and buff layer. It does not replace Joe the Alien rebirths, Sewer Key vine claims, or power buys. Best combo: claim Cosmic Cash Vine on login, harvest orchard, eat a Cash mutation, then push tycoon upgrades. Do not void evolve mid-event unless evolution-chart green lights are met — investor powers still reset.

• Sewer Key vine (~30 min income / 4h) stacks with orchard buff windows.
• Expert Picker + orchard Cash buff + map pickups = strong active burst.

Week-by-week Orchard calendar

Practical pacing for the July 3–27 window (today is inside Week 1–2):

• Week 1 (Jul 3–10): unlock, prove harvest loop, buy growth plot upgrades, skip decor.
• Week 2 (Jul 10–17): mutation fertilizers, sync with Cosmic Cash Vine 4h timer.
• Week 3 (Jul 17–24): Perfect/Exotic pushes, eat buffs before Depot/Trading spikes.
• Final 3 days (Jul 24–27): burn all remaining Tokens — they may not convert after close.

Orchard mistakes that waste the event

Five errors that cost Tokens or buff windows:

• Hoarding Tokens past July 27 — shop access closes with the event.
• Buying cosmetic decor before Irrigation Kit / Soil Enricher.
• Eating Draining / Lazy / Slow fruit as a "buff".
• Skipping tycoon rebirth to only farm trees — investors still gate void portal.
• Void evolving mid-event without a Manage rebuy budget.
