Sewer Key unlocks Cosmic Cash Vine — timed cash every 4 hours scaled to income. UFO Key unlocks a permanent investor multiplier: each Alien Investor pays 2% cash instead of 1% after you rescue the trapped alien and earn the Good Samaritan Badge. On accounts with hundreds of rebirths and thousands of investors, that doubling compounds every session. UFO Key is harder (12 steps vs 7) and requires rebirth progress, but it is the stronger long-term scaling reward in the sewer.

Prerequisites — do not start without these

The UFO Key physically does not spawn until Alien Investors are unlocked through rebirth. Players report reaching the correct northeast room with a perfect lever sequence and finding nothing — investors were not active yet. Complete Sewer Key on a separate server first so you understand pull/unpull logic. Ideal timing: after several rebirths when Manage power is bought and investor count is climbing.

Fresh server rule — non-negotiable

Sewer Key and UFO Key share the same four levers. Mixed lever states from a Sewer run block the UFO path. Finish Sewer Key, unlock the vine gate, exit to menu, join a new server, then start the 12-step UFO sequence from step 1. Do not disconnect mid-route — leaving the game resets levers and forces a full restart from Blue.

Lever locations (same maze as Sewer Key)

All four levers sit in the same positions as the Sewer Key guide. Use the central hub near the two scoreboards as your reset point between pulls.

• Blue — northeast maze, green-text hallway.
• Red — southwest maze, past forest gate (most pulls happen here).
• Green — southeast maze, right of Most Cash leaderboard.
• Purple — northwest maze, red floor line turn.

Where UFO route diverges from Sewer Key (critical)

Steps 1–3 are identical: pull Blue, Red, Green. At step 4 the routes split. Sewer Key unpulls Red then Blue. UFO Key unpulls Red only, then pulls Purple and Red again — never unpulling Blue at step 5. Mixing Sewer unpull steps into a UFO run is the #1 reason the northeast key room stays sealed.

• Sewer step 4–5: unpull Red, unpull Blue.
• UFO step 4–6: unpull Red, pull Purple, pull Red.
• If you unpulled Blue thinking it was Sewer route, reset server.

Exact UFO Key lever sequence (12 steps)

Complete in one sitting. "Pull" = activate lever ON; "unpull" = turn OFF. Steps 7–8 (unpull Green, unpull Red) open the northeast branch where the gray UFO Key spawns.

Steps 1–6: opening chain through Purple

Pull Blue, Red, Green in order — same as Sewer Key opening. Unpull Red at step 4 (do not touch Blue yet). Pull Purple in northwest, then pull Red southwest again. At this point Green should still be ON from step 3. You are now set up for the double-unpull phase that differs from Sewer Key's Blue unpull.

Steps 7–9: double unpull and key collection

Turn Green OFF, then Red OFF — both levers deactivated. The hidden path to the northeast UFO Key room opens. Walk northeast, find the gray key icon, and interact. If the key is invisible, investors are not unlocked yet — leave and rebirth first, then retry on a fresh server with the same sequence.

Steps 10–12: Good Samaritan Badge and alien rescue

The UFO Key alone does not grant the investor boost — you must reopen the alien's path. Pull Red ON, then Green ON. Walk to Frunkolapaglorpikisheraphrim (the trapped alien NPC deeper in the maze) and start dialogue. The Good Samaritan Badge popup confirms success. Investor cash per Alien Investor rises from 1% to 2% permanently on your account.

+2% investor math — why it matters midgame

Each rebirth adds Alien Investors. Base rate is +1% cash per investor; Good Samaritan Badge doubles that to +2%. At 100 investors that is the difference between +100% and +200% rebirth multiplier — and it scales linearly with every future rebirth. Troubleshooting UFO Key runs

UFO routes fail more often than Sewer because of extra Red/Green toggles and the Sewer-route muscle memory trap.

• No key visible: investors not unlocked — rebirth first.
• Door blocked at step 9: unpulled Blue by mistake (Sewer habit) — fresh server.
• Alien path closed: collect UFO Key before steps 10–12; pull Red then Green.
• Stuck levers: join fresh server, never random-pull colors.
• May 27 fix: lever reset bug patched — re-enter sewer if one step felt wrong.
