What deals are in Sell Lemons

Deals are timed or rotating in-game offers that trade cash, income multipliers, investor value, or active bonuses for progression. They appear once your income engine runs — typically midgame when Lemon Trading unlocks and scaling systems activate. A deal path is not 'take every green button' — it is sequencing offers so each one funds the next system unlock without draining evolution or ascension buffers.

The 10-second deal test (use every time)

Before accepting any deal, answer all three — if any answer is wrong, skip:

  • Does this deal buy a major upgrade within the next 5 minutes?
  • Does the effect stay useful after I log off or reset (multiplier yes, active click no)?
  • Am I about to void evolve, rebirth, or ascend and lose short-term cash value?

Deal types in Sell Lemons — six categories

Most offers fall into one of these buckets — match type to phase:

  • Flat cash burst — one-time cash injection. Best early game; weak before void evolve.
  • Income multiplier — permanent or long-duration × on tier income. Best midgame after Depot gates.
  • Investor value — bonus investors or +% per investor. Best post Sewer/UFO Key void grind.
  • Active click bonus — helps only while clicking. Skip for burst-and-sleep players.
  • Timed scaling offer — scales with current income. Take before logout if multiplier-based.
  • Pre-evolution bundle — cash + bonus tied to evolve timing. Only if speeds 100% void bar.

Early game deals (Stand → LemonDash)

Phase 1 — first hour. Income is slow; flat cash deals that buy the next stand or LemonDash fee tier are almost always worth taking.

  • Take: cash that buys Juicer, Cup Stand, Sugar Mixer, or next delivery fee.
  • Take: any deal that funds Lily Gumdrop automator hire.
  • Skip: active click bonuses if you plan burst-and-sleep offline play.
  • Skip: deals that only buy stand cosmetics with no income effect.
  • Pair with: LemonDash YES text (~$83K) — not a deal but same cash-injection logic.

Midgame deals (Depot → Trading → 501.2Q)

Phase 2 — Depot billions through void portal unlock. Multiplier deals start beating flat cash when rebuilds take minutes not hours.

  • Take: depot or stand multiplier deals before Depot Manager hire.
  • Take: investor-value deals after Sewer Key — compounding toward 501.2Q portal.
  • Take: deals that fund roof/walls/lights if decoration gate is your bottleneck.
  • Skip: flat cash that drains buffer right before void evolution at 100% progress.
  • Skip: deals that only help Lemon Trading if Depot gates still hide buttons.

Late game deals (Void loop → Ascension → LemonX)

Phase 3 — post-portal void evolution through Space Staircase. Deals should stack with ×42 void stacks and ×7.77 ascension cash planning.

  • Take: deals funding The End (320 Octogintillion) or Space Staircase build.
  • Take: multiplier deals before burst-and-sleep logout at LemonX scale.
  • Skip: flat cash right before ascension unless it completes The End purchase.
  • Skip: active-only deals when Remote Buy + offline meta is your playstyle.
  • Prefer: Forever Purchase synergies over one-time bursts unless burst funds ascension.

Deals vs void evolution (Purple Portal)

Void evolution at 100% progress wipes buildings, cash, investors, and investor powers. Cash deals taken minutes before evolve lose value unless they let you evolve immediately or buy a permanent upgrade one purchase away (Staircase, Labs row). Rule: skip flat cash deals when void bar is 90%+ unless evolve is the goal. Multiplier deals on buildings reset anyway — same skip logic. Claim Cosmic Cash Vine before evolving when payout scales with income.

Deals vs rebirth (Joe the Alien)

Rebirth wipes buildings and cash but keeps investor powers. Flat cash deals before rebirth are wasted if you rebirth within the session — spend deal cash into stand/depot first, then rebirth. Investor-value deals are never wasted — investors count toward 501.2Q portal threshold even when spent on powers.

Deals vs ascension (Space Staircase)

Ascension wipes void stacks, fruit tier, investors, buildings, and free Remote Buy. Avoid cash deals that drain The End (320 Octogintillion) savings unless the deal completes ascension prep itself. Read in-game ascension confirmation before any late deal. Post-ascension: flat cash deals matter again for fast rebuild with ×7.77 + Wormhole Forever Purchase.

Deals vs powers (investor currency competition)

Powers and some deals compete for the same midgame resources. Priority when bottleneck is clear:

  • Manage (100 inv) beats short flat cash deal if rebuild is slow.
  • Flat cash deal beats Manage if deal buys 3+ stand tiers immediately.
  • Expert Picker beats active click deal for map pickup players.
  • Remote Buy (1 Trigintillion) loses to Forever Purchase Wormhole — never trade token for deal.
  • See best-powers guide for power timing; this page for offer sequencing.

Offline and burst-and-sleep deal timing

If you burst upgrades before sleep, take scaling/multiplier deals that raise offline base rate — not active click bonuses. Timed scaling offers that scale with current income: upgrade stand/depot first, take deal, then log off. Return when offline bank + Cosmic Cash Vine (4h) fund one major unlock. See offline-income guide.

Deals after Sewer Key and UFO Key

Post-sewer shift: investor-value deals rise in priority. Cosmic Cash Vine every 4h (~30 min income) replaces some flat cash deal value — you have recurring income. Good Samaritan Badge (+2% per investor) makes investor deals compound harder. Skip flat cash deals that would delay UFO Key completion if alien route is one session away.

Deal path mistakes to avoid

Six traps that waste offers.

  • Banking deal cash idle instead of buying permanent multiplier immediately.
  • Taking flat cash at 100% void progress bar — cash wipes on evolve.
  • Accepting every deal because 'free money' — filler delays major unlocks.
  • Active click deals while playing burst-and-sleep offline meta.
  • Investor deals before stand base exists — weak multiplier on tiny income.
  • Deal spending on Depot cosmetics that do not reveal hidden buttons.

Deal Path FAQ

Are deals always worth taking in Sell Lemons?

No. Take deals that change your next meaningful action — major upgrade, permanent multiplier, or investor scaling. Skip filler cash right before void evolution or ascension.

Should I take deals before void evolving?

Only if the deal helps you hit 100% progress and evolve, or buys a permanent upgrade one purchase away. Otherwise save cash buffer for post-evolve rebuild.

What deal is best for offline players?

Permanent scaling and multiplier deals beat active click bursts. Burst upgrade before sleep so offline runs from higher base.

When do deals unlock in Sell Lemons?

Deals become relevant midgame — often when Lemon Trading unlocks (tier 4). Early game focus is stand and LemonDash upgrades without deal dependency.

Deal or power upgrade first?

Whichever fixes current bottleneck. Manage (100 inv) often beats short deals; flat cash deals beat powers when rebuild is still slow.

Should I take deals before ascension?

Avoid cash deals that drain The End (320 Octogintillion) savings unless they complete ascension prep. Check ascension reset screen first.

Best deal timing after Sewer Key?

Shift toward investor-value and multiplier deals once Cosmic Cash Vine (4h) is on your loop.

Deal path vs income sources guide?

Income sources lists all eight tiers. Deal path evaluates which in-game offers to accept at each phase.

Flat cash deal vs Cosmic Cash Vine?

Vine gives ~30 min income every 4h free after Sewer Key — recurring. Flat cash deals are one-time; take if vine cannot fund your next unlock.

Should I take deals before rebirth?

Spend deal cash into upgrades first, then rebirth. Raw cash deal value is lost on rebirth if unspent.

Multiplier deal before Depot Manager?

Yes — multiplier rows before manager hire. Same rule as all tiers: base before automation.

Deals during Orchard Update July 2026?

Event tokens are separate from tycoon deals. Take tycoon multiplier deals that help stand; spend orchard tokens before July 27 deadline.
